What your result means

Records found

The domain publishes records. Each row shows one record as public DNS returns it.

No MX records

The domain has no mail servers, so it cannot receive email or replies.

Domain not found

Public DNS has no records for the name. It may be misspelled, not registered or on hold.

Questions about the DNS lookup

What does a DNS lookup show?

The records a domain publishes: A and AAAA for its addresses, CNAME for aliases, MX for mail, NS for name servers, TXT for text such as SPF, CAA for certificate rules and SOA for the zone itself.

Why do my new records not show yet?

Resolvers keep old answers until their TTL runs out. A changed record can take from a few minutes to a day to show everywhere.

Which records does a cold email domain need?

MX records for replies, an SPF record, a DKIM key and a DMARC record. The Domain health tab checks all four at once.
